Here's a quick checklist with easy fixes...
— Try each one, in order, one by one —
1. DON'T Send Files DIRECTLY from a CD: You can't just copy and paste songs from your CD! The songs you see there end with .cda and are NOT music files. You must first "rip" (convert) them into music files that end with either .mp3 or .wma.
Here's how:

2. DON'T Send Files DIRECTLY from the cloud or another source: You can't load files stored on
YouTube, or
iTunes, or any other
Cloud storage services,
directly into the Uploader. You must DOWNLOAD THEM ONTO YOUR
OWN COMPUTER first for the Uploader to work.
3. Each Song File Must Be 16 MB or less: If it is larger than that: Use a free editor, such as
Audacity, and either: (A)
Split it into 2 songs, labeled 'Pt.1' & 'Pt.2' -- or --
(B) just re-export it (re-save), since that often shortens its file size.
4. Wrong Formats (such as .WAV, Video, .AIF, or ZIP Files): Another common uploading problem is when songs are in ".wav" or ".aif" or video formats, or inside a .zip file. Since these files are HUGE (and zip files are security risks),
convert them to .mp3 files (or extract them from zip files):

5. Give Your Song Files Shorter One-Word Names: Rename your song files using just one word per file. For example, if the song file you are uploading is named
– Just Because I Love You Frank.mp3 – rename it
– just.mp3 – before adding it to the Upload Form. (Keep your song's TITLE, just change its file name.)
6. TRY A DIFFERENT BROWSER — this usually solves the problem!
(if you use IE, try Firefox or Chrome, etc.)

If you are using our $29.95 Plan, you can avoid the Uploader entirely by just attaching your song files to an email message to us! (just don't send us WAV or VIDEO or AIF files, see #4 above).
(If your attachments TOTAL more than about 20 MB, you'll need to break them into separate email messages since most email providers set a limit on total attachment size per message.)
